Overall staff was friendly and it would be a really nice hotel if repairs were made, water stained tiles need replaced, dinged or damaged areas need patched and painted,things dusted and cleaned to include the fake plants and water for the real plants dying in the pool house and outdoors. It's sad, there is some beautiful lanscaping that has been let go, left to die and nothing really being maintained. Unfortunately I prepaid for breakfast for all of us per day and was told I couldn't be refunded due to booking through Expedia after finding all the hot food was cold. We didn't use but 2 of our tickets and were out the money for the rest. We had no housekeeping the first 3 days and had to ask for fresh towels daily after using them for the shower leak even after talking with management. Our room phone didn't work so we had to go to the lobby several times. The week we stayed the beds were only made once, the room never vacuumed, swept or mopped and ran out of bodywash and had to ask for it to be filled when housekeeping failed to check or clean the room today as well as ask again for fresh and extra towels because even after maintenance came our shower leaked puddles daily every use. After addressing all these things I still had to go down to the lobby again yonight my last night to requeat towels a bath matt and body wash that has been empty 2 days. We will try somewhere else next time.

Terribly long line to check in and wouldn’t allow you to check in until 4:00 exactly. However some customers were allowed to check in before regardless of us waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes until 4:00. Front desk personnel very slow in answering concerns.

There is a lot of drug activity and tons of people just moping around. Didn’t feel like a safe area. Air quality at Hotel seemed moldy and just not great. Hotel needs updates.

The hotel is very old and has had some updates but needs a lot more! We did not eat at the hotel because the hotel felt dirty and musty and old. The air did not work well and the rooms were warm. We moved to another room and still had the same issue. The doors had to be forced shut. Wallls and surfaces were dirty and grungy.

We got to the hotel about 3. Check in is at 4. Drive around awhile and asked about 3:30 if the room was ready. Said no. I asked if my grandkids could swim until it was ready. Can't swim until you choin. At 4 it still wasn't ready. They sent 2 employees to clean it. Didn't check in until 4:45. We were going to the Springfield Cardinals baseball game. They had a giveaway but we didn't make it because we had to change when the room was ready. I asked if I could get a discount or something but since I went through a third party booking they would not do anything. I won't stay there again.

First room, the door key battery was going out. The door hung/rubbed top edge. The A/C was not working properly. Was provided another room. Door lock flashed red but kept the room. A/C was not the best, bought a 9inch fan and was fine. The kitchen was closed to public, so they served buffet in main grand room. Wish we had gone out for breakfast. Granddaughter thought is was the best days of her life!

The room was nice but would have been better if there had been a fridge. The bathroom mirror was new and had a built in magnifying mirror and additional lighting settings, this was a nice touch. The check in staff member mumbled through the instructions. The nice open courtyard with the fountain was peaceful and inviting until you got close to the glass to see the scaling buildup along the edge of the feature. I actually use the exercise room and the elliptical was good but there was visible damage to one of the belts on the treadmill. There was a box fan that was the only thing attempting to cool the room down.
