I stayed here for a few nights with my mother who is quite hard to please. Happy to report that we both enjoyed our stay, our room, the food, the pool and the beach. I especially enjoyed walking on the paths among the palm trees. I felt like I was on an expedition in the jungle.

The place is very lovely. The staff was really nice. It feels very safe because there is security going into the resort. Love the kids theater show. The only thing that I would say is that the food is not flavorful and it’s kind of hard to book restaurants we stayed there for about four nights, and we only got to go to one, but the menu was very limited .

I had a great experience at the CATALONIA PLATA MAROMA Resort. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the resort was clean and beautiful, and the beach and pool areas were perfect for relaxing. I was very impressed with the nature surrounding. The food was good with plenty of options, and the overall atmosphere made for a stress-free vacation. Our stay was amazing! Friendly staff, great food with a lot of options and a lot of different activities. The only downside was the algae by the beach but the staff was constantly cleaning so the guests could use the beach. I would 100% recommend this place to my friends and family and would come back.
