If you're planning to explore beyond Playa, rental cars are a great option just keep in mind that parking in the city center can be limited.

Rate: 10 MXN per hour
Payment: At street terminals (cash) or easily via the MueveCiudad app (credit/debit card).
Outside of these hours, parking on the street is free.
