We arrived after a long day in airports and the staff were exceptionally helpful to us jet-lagged travelers. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. (And, I'll add that the pizza we had delivered from Tomacelli's was delicious and arrived quickly!)

This hotel is located within walking distance to the Sanford Hospital. I did not know what the hospital rate was? I did not think the price to stay there a night was commensurate with the outdated furniture. The bed was not comfortable because the mattress was old.

Below Average Stay

Parking: very little parking available for customers. Location: By the hospital but it still didn’t feel very safe. Strange people in the parking lots and watching us unload our items at 11pm. Doors: Doors to the hotel were locked, which is fine for safety, but my husband tried to come in to get our room that we reserved and no one would let him in even though they saw him. Check In - very slow process, but gentleman was nice. Room - there are no smoking signs everywhere, yet the building smells of cigarette smoke. Our room wreaked terribly of stale cigarettes. The beds were old and like tacos. Security lock/deadbolt was broken. I’m ok with an old hotel, but it has to be clean and well maintained and this hotel was lacking in both.

This hotel is right across the street from a hospital, and is geared to serve patients’ families. It does an amazing job providing low rates for good service. We were driving through and had great value for the price. We were also a very short drive from the tourist district, with tons of brunch options and great views of the falls.

I checked the reviews before booking the room and it didn't say anything about it not being in a safe location and unfortunately someone stole our license plate holder with our trip permit. The officer was very nice. But the on line review made it sound safe. It was not. The people then said we were on the wrong side of town. Lots of property crime.
