"The front desk guy responded to me in English whenever I would speak to him in Spanish. Mind you, I have a degree in Spanish. I thought that was rude. The bed had a stain on it that was still wet when we checked in. Which ended up not being a big deal, but it was gross to look at. The pool is REALLY loud. If you don’t have a time where you cut off people playing music, you need to implement one. 9pm is too late for mariachi music at full blast. We had just driven 6.5 hrs to get there and just wanted to sleep. Overall, good hotel. I’d probably stay there again but the staff could be a little nicer. That said, the housekeepers were all very nice. The front desk and restaurant staff were just weird and gave weird vibes. For example, the restaurant girls would stare at us the whole time we were eating.
The location was pretty perfect. Just over half a mile to the spot where all the restaurants and tourist stuff was. And only 30-35 min from VDG, which was a beautiful drive."
