The rooms are clean and decent, and the location is good. However, I’m disappointed with the destination fee that added $35 per night to my room. I’ve called the hotel multiple times, but I’ve only managed to leave voicemail messages without receiving any response. The front desk simply advised me to read the fine print. It’s not clear why the $35 charge is not mentioned at check-in or check-out, which feels a bit sneaky. Another issue is the prices for basic items. The room offers water for $8 a bottle, and breakfast costs $35 per person for the most basic options. While the Clancy is a decent hotel, it’s not a luxury establishment. I’m not sure why they’re expecting luxury prices.

The staff were very kind and the room was lovely. However, the entire building was very cold/chilly like the AC was on even though it was 46 degrees outside. The air freshener/signature scent perfume or whatever it was in the lobby was really strong to the point of being unpleasnt. Crucially, as a person there for business, the WiFi signal in my room was very inconsistent to the point I couldn't use it because it would disconnect then then on reconnect it has "no internet" (three different devices experienced this.
