We had a nice quick trip. The location is right on the edge of a rougher area of SF, and we did have a homeless individual follow us inside, though police responded quickly and removed them. The 2nd floor has a pleasant lounge area with free coffee and tea, which was a nice perk. If you’re a light sleeper, I would avoid a room on the 2nd floor, as we could hear music from the restaurant/bar below until about 2 a.m.

The room was too small for 4 people. There was no space for our laguadge and we had to keep the laguadge in door because we had no space for laguadge. Living in that room was literally like living in a cage. Also there were many homeless people all around that area the entire time we were feeling unsafe.

The room was okay, but with 4 people it was definitely cramped. The 4 person room is very very small, there is barely room for two people, but we didn't really mind since our stay was very short. The receptionists were kind but the hotel amenities like slippers, toothpaste etc were limited. It's in the tenderloin, which makes the location very sketchy, but for the price in such a city, I guess you get what you paid for.

Staff members were very nice. Rooms, i've been in 2 different types for 5 nights, were all very clean, well prepared, classic, cozy. So much better than what I expected looking at those pictures on the website when i was trying to find the hotel rooms. Just what I needed for my business trip.

Very basic, no amenities (not even a water bottle or glass cup) in the room. Room smelled musty, like stale cigarettes. Rooms are dingy, in need of fresh paint, furniture was chipped. Didn’t replace washcloths, qtips etc. Was gouged at $800+ per night due to Microsoft convention. All shortfalls were amplified due to price but wouldn’t stay here again.
