On a cul-de-sac in a good, safe, flat neighborhood in the geographic center of The City

The bedroom has a queen bed. The (larger) sitting room has a single bed, which looks sort of like a sofa, as well as a real sofa. Both rooms look out at the garden. Powder-room-size bathroom with walk-in shower. WiFi. Cable TV with Netflix et al. Wood floors.
Excellent bus connections: Downtown/Beach; Marina/MIssion. Easy walk to Golden Gate Park, Laurel Village, Clement St., and to two foodie destinations: Arsicault (best croissants in the country); Arguello Market (best sandwich—turkey—in The City). The host greeted my family in person and made sure they had everything they needed. When a massive power outage in the city took out most of the surrounding blocks, he made sure we had flashlights and candles, just in case the rental might lose power (it didn't, by some twist of good fortune). It was the perfect location for us, and the stay was seamless.

Solid Place in a Very Convenient Location

Had a great stay at Howard’s property. It is the lower level of a house, very nice having a garage if renting a vehicle. Very safe area and close access to Golden Gate Park and Muni buses. Howard was accommodating and met upon arrival. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. If looking for a place to stay in the Richmond district or near Golden Gate Park, this is a great option!

Great Stay

Overall a great stay, location is amazing, central to everything and a easy Uber ride. The place is super quiet and very comfortable . There are several great places to eat (all provided by the host). A great place to stay.
