Please let any guest know that if they are staying on the 20th floor that the 21st floor is a bar/club. I couldn't go to sleep until 2:30 AM when my room stopped sounded like a college dorm room.

The rooms are small and, despite a recent renovation, already tattered around the edges. Some design elements were odd choices such as putting a coffee maker on a shelf that doesn't have outlets, requiring guests to move it to the floor or a side table to plug it in. There were some delay with room service and the cleaning staff like to chat loudly in the hallways beginning at 8am. Despite all this, it was a tolerable stay and management did their best to accommodate these issues. Not sure though if I would stay again. The pictures definitely paint a rosier picture than reality.

Urban fee for $35. Valet for $72. $10 tax on valet parking. Another bunch of San Francisco taxes. Hotel Personnel was great. Room was small but well appointed. Lobby Bar was subpar. Mandatory tips only encourage subpar service at the bar. Even Starlight wasn’t great with cocktails. Union Square is mostly empty of retail.

The rooms are tiny, practically zero closet space, and the bathrooms were extremely small. The parking was insanely expensive at $82 per night!!! other than that it’s a cute and charming Hotel one minute away from union Square or there’s a lot of shopping and dining options. We also went up to starlight their bar and Lounge, it was beautiful with amazing views of the city.
