I just recently traveled to peurto vallarta. I had an amazing time.The hotel staff was exceptional.The rooms were exceptional. I felt safe everywhere that I went because there was staff.Available 24/7.They catered to me like I was a queen. I will be returning within the next few months and will be staying at the same hotel.

This is an aging property with an overall good staff—especially in the kitchen and wait staff. The food ranges from good to very good. The rooms were good and the maid service was excellent. It can be noisy at night because of the public beach. You may need to call down to the lobby to have security quiet the public and/or guests after 11 PM. The general manager was responsive when expressing concerns, but the lobby personnel were only adequate.

The food was terrible. The only day it was eatable was when we made a reservation. The ac didn’t work. They came to fix it after 2 days and it was the same and it was so LOUD. Literally we slept on so called sofas that the base was cement. The worst experience I had in PV. The wait staff was good. But the property is old needs to be completely renovated.

Overall, not a bad experience at all. left happy with experience at this resort Staff is very helpful and friendly other their staff that works with their local timeshare companies are a little pushy The only cons are no mini fridges in room no microwaves, did see some bugs only seen in the bathroom when using in the middle of the night, but they are small so it looks like they are on it and try to take care of it but we all have to remember it’s a beach resort in a jungle area But besides all that I would stay here again it’s budget friendly in a great area walking distance from stores and pharmacies and other restaurants outside of the resort to try

This property was very old and outdated needs lots of maintenance. The ac in the rooms never got cold, all of the dining facilities are out side and extremely hot. The food was not very good at all. The only positive is that the bar staff was great. Entertainment was horrible it was mainly karaoke and all in Spanish never once was anything spoken in English I would never go to this property again!!!!

I am genuinely surprised that this place has nearly 4 stars, as my experience was far from satisfactory. I called ahead to confirm that the hotel had ample parking for guests and was assured there was plenty available. However, upon arrival, I found only 10 to 15 parking spaces for the entire hotel, which were also used by the staff. At check-in, I requested to add an additional guest to my reservation. The front desk agent was unhelpful and insisted it was not possible to make changes, even though I was willing to pay the difference. It took nearly an hour for him to finally agree to make the changes. My family and I had planned a full family vacation, booking a total of six rooms for the entire week. Two of these rooms were mine—one for my wife and me, and the other for our kids. One of our rooms had a strong smell of humidity, and the air conditioning in both rooms did not work properly, failing to cool the rooms. In one of my brother-in-law's rooms, the ceiling in the shower started dripping water, and the air conditioning was also not functioning. Another brother-in-law's room experienced an overflowing shower, causing water to spill into the room. None of the six rooms we rented had working air conditioning. During lunch one day, one of my kids started feeding the birds. A staff member approached rudely and yelled at my child, telling him to stop immediately or face a fine from the hotel. Instead of addressing the issue with me.

Loved this hotel but what disappointed me was that the servers in the main restaurant never once came near my table to ask did I want a drink. You had to hope and pray that you would catch their eye and signal for their attention. Very disappointing as you’re eating a meal with no drink to wash it down. Hate to complain as they cleaning staff, bell boys were amazing.

All the staff were awesome and polite, The young security gaurd gives weird looks and we just ignored him. I would avoid the tours people on the main floor, they try to over sell whatever you ask for. We wanted tickets for Hop On Hop Off city tour and she tried to get us to have breakfast with her in 2 days time and wouldn't say why we needed to do that. Maybe timeshare sales crap. The a/c in our room would only work on low fan speed so we asked the manager to fix it and they never did anything about it. It was uncomfortably hot in our room - not nice in July! The food is good, but not a lot of variety and no bacon at breakfast. This hotel is 100% Mexican clientelle and Canadians and Americans won't really enjoy this hotel. I don't want to be overly harsh, but it is pretty dated. The most annoying thing at the hotel is the man doing the activities at the pool. He loves to hear himself talk and does so at the highest volume level of the speakers. It's so loud you can't talk to the person sitting next to you at the pool. I could hear him in our room on the other side of the hotel. Same with the Kareokee in the lobby. They turned the bass up so much that things were rattling in our room. As a Canadian I wouldn't stay there again, but I think the Mexican people really liked it. Different strokes for different folks.

Very nice all inclusive hotel on beachfront.

I don't know why there are complaints about the food. It was excellent! Many choices if you want American food or Mexican. The waiters were awesome and always there to get you drinks or anything else. The beach was beautiful and sandy, no rocks at all except where the property line was marked. Pools were nice. Night time show was fun and ended by 10 pm so no noise problems after that. Fun walk along a river/pond that does have an alligator in residence. Had no problem finding a pool side chair, but the ones on the beach were usually taken. Loved it here and would come back again.

A pleasant stay, thank you! Very family friendly and comfortable, with delicious food, excellent drinks, and friendly staff. The facilities need some love (e.g., the pool tiles are coming off, there is damage from wear and tear in places), but the staff ensure it is all kept clean and comfortable. Happy that we chose this resort.
