This is a decent condo in an excellent location. The condo is large and has two full bathrooms. The deck looks out onto a street and has bars for security. The condo was very clean. The location cannot be beat - out the building door turn left and you're on the Malecon. That said, it can be extremely loud late in the evening as deliveries happen right outside the deck and the soundproofing is minimal.
The building has a very warm rooftop pool with many lounge chairs, a great view, and a bathroom.
The condo was very clean in general. When I rolled back the sheets of the primary bedroom on night 1 I did find both a tiny dead gecko and a giant dead moth. But it was bedtime for my kids after a long travel day so I removed without saying anything. The kitchen was well equipped but had a lot of leftover things - half used condiments and things like that in the fridge. Maybe this is normal in Mexico but I, personally, would never use a half open container of something that a former guest left behind. I did appreciate the kitchen being well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils of all kinds. Nicer drink ware would go a long way as most of it was mismatched plastic cups. Consumables are not restocked which is standard for Mexico but I was only given a paper towel roll with about 4 sheets of paper towel remaining.
Overall it was a very good condo for the price and the location was exemplary. A few small tweaks to the unit could take it from good to incredible.
