We booked this last minute to be closer to the airport for an early flight. For one night and the price it was ok, but definitely not for more although the location was good. Room had a damp smell, it improved once we opened the window. Breakfast had limited options and very slow service since it was a team of two (the young lady who did all the front line work like taking the order, waitress and bus the tables and then the chef). Only drink options were coffee and orange juice. I asked if I could just get a cup of hot water since I bring my own tea bags for this type of situation and the response was yes, but I’d have to pay extra. I could tell the girl was embarrassed to have to charge for water. It was over 30 minutes before we got our food, which was fruit, scrambled eggs and toast. i am glad we were one of the first to head over for breakfast because by the time we were done all the tables were taken so it would have probably been over an hour at that point.

The room doesn't look nothing like the pictures. The room looks old, walls poorly painted. The pictures on the ad shows beautiful tiled floor and the reality is different. The floor is not tiled. The wifi is the worst, it doesn't work inside the rooms and the receptionist said that it only works in the hall way and lobby. The pool area is closed at night, no lights no staff at the rooftop pool and terrace. I would come back here. The only good thing about the room was the bed.

Spotless, that depends on your definition of spotless. Yes, it was clean, but it wasn't a 5 star hotel. It was a beach hotel, but very good. And the staff was courteous and hard working. If you want to stay at an affordable safe and clean hotel on a budget, this place is good.

The location was perfect for us, just off 5th but not in the busy section. The lobby is cute as well as the garden space between the buildings. Something to note is it appears that the king rooms all face the garden while the rooms with two beds face the street. The hotel is probably due for some upgrades but there was nothing wrong with it. Sheets were clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. I wish the breakfast was a bit better, we ate there on the first morning and didn’t go back. I also wish that they left bottles of water in the room and that there was a mini fridge.

For the price and location it was great. The staff was quiet but friendly when approached. The building is concrete and a bit older but very well kept. Like older buildings I stayed in in Spain and England it has an older smell but no mold or mildew. The breakfast was delicious. The rooftop pool and restaurant was beautiful. Very handy to 5th ave and local public beach. Yes I would stay here again. Only thing to know is there is no bottled water in the room.

Overall I've expected more from "4-star" hotel. The room is veeery basic and minimalistic. I stayed at 4th floor, "under" the cafe. Every morning at 6am they started moving tabels/chairs/something. And it's loud, and made me woke up. Stuff is nice and friendly.
