I stayed at this property in Jamaica from April 6th–17th, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
Upon arrival, the downstairs toilet was broken and overflowing.This issue was not addressed until about 8 days into our stay, after I requested it be fixed more then once. The water in the house stopped working almost every night. When I raised this concern, the host dismissed it by saying that this is normal in a Caribbean country. I’ve been to Jamaica over 30 times and have never experienced ongoing water outages like this, so that explanation didn’t reflect my experience at all. Basic supplies were not adequately provided. We were given only one garbage bag for a two-week stay and 4 rolls of toilet paper for six people, which is completely unreasonable.We were also not allowed to do our own laundry. Instead, a woman was sent to do it, but when she arrived, she didn’t even have laundry detergent, and the process took about 6 hours.The house was not cleaned once during our stay, and maintenance issues were ongoing. The front window leaked every time it rained, adding to the frustration.
I reached out to the host to express my concerns,hoping for a resolution, but the conversation turned into an argument. I ended the call due to how it was handled, and the host then blocked me, which I found very unprofessional.Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, communication, or basic functionality. I would not recommend this property
