Basic and fit my needs for one night. Very clean and bed comfortable. Location convenient. Only cons: no elevator, limited in room amenities (no conditioner, lotion or luggage rack), the heat was cranked up to 80 degrees. Had to shut off and open windows (which apparently not all rooms have, so beware). Bathroom has minimum privacy. Just a sliding frosted glass door. Front desk agent was not very friendly and personable.

1st night was a standard queen-comfy bed, minimal amenities in the room, no breakfast, no bed side lights, minimal walking space in the room, shower door too much of a gap and water flowed across the bathroom floor, thin walls- could hear people upstairs and the train below; 2nd night upgraded to King, much more space, street view, shower door closes, no hand towels; little hot water for shower, toilet stopped working, fire alarm went off in the morning, and you can see through slit in shower door leaving no privacy for the person in the shower of someone was sitting on the bed. Overall a 4 out of 10. Wouldn’t stay there again. And no elevator- we were on the 4th floor.

Hotel was clean, room was small but we accepted we weren’t there to be in the hotel. Only complaint was one grumpy receptionist and mattresses that you could feel the springs through. Complementary coffee was a nice touch.

I really liked this room. It was clean and new. Cute but small bathroom, which was fine for me. No elevator, but that was also fine for me. I stayed two nights. The staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out were easy and quick and done with a human (not a robot, like other places). The location is perfect for tourists. There are tons of restaurants and grocery stores in the immediate vicinity. I would definitely book here again.

Great location with cozy rooms. Take note that the stairs may be physically demanding, and the space may be challenging for claustrophobic folks, particularly the restrooms. The heater in our room had issues so the front desk brought us a portable one to use, which was very kind considering the snow storm. This is a great place to stay in NYC for the location and value.

It's rated higher than it should be online. It was hard to find, not easy to enter, not the cleanest, & not the friendliest. You have to have be buzzed in to enter or leave. No elevator. The room had stains on the headboard & seemed dusty. The shower had no curtain or wall so if you shower it'll get all over the bathroom/toilet. It's a tiny room and safe area, so fine for a quick trip/if you'll be out all day, but definitely an average hotel.
