I liked this place, it was simple and comfortable and clean and well located. My room was very small but comfortable for not being in the room very much. Also there is no elevator so be prepared to climb some stairs. Overall would recommend and stay at again.

The Sohotel on the Bowery is excellent for its value, with modern comfort with a prime downtown location. While the lack of an elevator requires a quick stair climb, the immaculate rooms and outstanding hospitality make it well worth the price for able-bodied travelers. Coffee is great!

The pictures are accurate - Sohotel looks exactly as pictured. Exposed brick, beautifully finished, cool lighting and accent pieces all around. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was a touch on the small side, but very comfortable bed, nice amenities (cool Bluetooth powered sound system, camera to borrow), bathroom was amazing - heated floor, great shower and looked beautiful. We'll be back for sure.

Old hotel in a great area. No elevator on site so get ready to carry luggage 4 flights of stairs! Rooms are decent size and hotel has a boutique feel. Staff are barely present. Better options out there!
