Amazing Manager, her name is Fatoumata Trawarch! She made us feel like home! We arrived late and our room was full of hair everywhere. We were extremely tired so I started cleaning myself just to be able to take a shower and relax. The next morning we spoke to the Manager and her reaction was professional in a way that you don't see these days. She immediately suggested practical solutions in such a professional manner and she is extremely nice and friendly as well. Our room was small but renovated and the location is walkable, close to restaurants, Central Park, subway etc. I am from LA and have been to NYC multiple times. This hotel is great if you look at the price-performance ratio plus the renovated and new room and bathroom. I can totally recommend it.

The room was not like picture - much smaller and according the manager redone. Leaking ceiling above hall, dirty old tub, moldy stuff in shower wall, Wi-Fi was sporadic, no fan in bathroom so constantly steamy, no robes no slippers no mini fridge. One elevator was out so lots of backup. Crappy shower with old tub. For the price I could have stayed at the Wallace which I regret not doing.

Beyond a nice lobby, a very outdated hotel, with very noisy room, poor air conditioning and ventilation, runned down bathroom. However, nice people at the reception trying their best to accommodate the anger and disappointment of the clients. Not recommended.

Remodeling in process. This was not mentioned upon booking. Also I chose this hotel because of the outdoor space and that was not accessible. It was blocked off due to repairs. The balcony area was uncapped the entire hotel looks like it’s under construction and definitely not worth the cost. I feel like we could’ve stayed in a much nicer hotel with the fee. We paid for one night

Cozy and comfy!

I had an emergency and needed a room for the night quickly! I was able to book super fast, my room was exceptional. Clean and comfy bed! Bathroom was great and the room was extremely quiet! I didnt hear anything from outside which was surprising giving that its in such a busy area! Will definitely stay again!!

Staff is amazing. They make up for everything. The interior of the lobby is distinctive. Rooms are basic but spacious. Serafina restaurant is accessible from the lobby, great food and service. The hotel is not the quietest, being near Broadway. Also, lot of door slamming. All in all, fair value for Manhattan upper west side.

The room overall was dirty. The door had a large crack in it which had light come through and the hallway was so loud with the cleaning crew from 7am - 8 or 9pm. For the money it really isn’t worth it. The room feels very cheap and really wasn’t clean which is a big thing.

The property has been renovated recently. However, the faucet in the bathroom was loose and wiggled. The drain was very slow in the sink. There was nowhere to put your toiletries as a shelf did not exist in the bathroom
