The place was filthy, dirty pads in the trash, dirty dishes in the bedroom dresser, floors weren't swept, everything covered in dust. Heat wouldn't turn off, it was 80 degrees outside and easily 90 degrees in the unit. Ac units were still winterized so ac wasn't working, our first 3 days were miserable. Host couldn't have cared less! We contacted Maintenance ourselves after she lied that her cleaning lady was going to meet them to have the heat looked at. Maintenance ended up disconnecting the heat and then removing the backing on the ac units so they'd work. Area is bad! Especially walking from the subway to the building at night. Even at 10 am you're walking past groups on men hanging out on the corner to get to the subway. She changed the address on us the day we checked in. The pictures in the listing are of the unit but cleaned up by AI. There were no paper towels, and a whopping 6 towels in the entire unit. When I mentioned this to the host she said yes 6 towels because the unit holds 6 people!!! So I got to do laundry on vacay so we had clean towels for the stay. Do yourself a favor and find another place! Don't let the pictures of the nice decor fool you! The unit is ran down! The building smells, the kitchen drain smells, and there are better places to stay!
