Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The neighbors are welcoming and friendly. The unique historic neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). The Point is home to a few wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars.

Algiers Point has a rhythm all its own - quieter streets, painted shotgun houses, and a neighborly feel that the French Quarter never quite managed to bottle. This two-bedroom duplex drops you right into it, with the $2 ferry just steps away and a full block of cafes, bars, and Barracuda tacos practically at your doorstep.
Sleeping arrangements
The duplex sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. The queen bedroom is set up for restful nights with room-darkening shades and ample clothing storage - a closet and dresser keep things tidy. The second bedroom offers twin beds, a natural fit for friends traveling together or a pair of siblings. Extra pillows and blankets are on hand throughout.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully loaded for home cooking: refrigerator, freezer, oven, Whirlpool electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, and a baking sheet for when the mood strikes. Cooking basics - oil, salt, pepper, pots and pans - are stocked, along with dishes, silverware, and a dining table. Start your morning with a fresh brew before catching the ferry, or wind down after a late night out with something you made yourself.
Living & entertainment
The living area anchors around a 55-inch HDTV with Chromecast, Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. When you want something a little more analog, the record player and vinyl collection are there, along with books and reading material for quieter evenings. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace - desk, office chair, and table in a common area - keep you connected whether you're working remotely or mapping out the next day's plans.
Bathroom & laundry
The bathroom offers a tub/shower combo stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel, plus a hair dryer and fresh towels. In-unit washer and dryer, an iron, and cleaning products handle the practical side of longer stays.
Comfort & safety
Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep the duplex comfortable through every season. Safety features include a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and one exterior security camera at the entry door.
Getting around
The $2 ferry puts you in the French Quarter in minutes - Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, Cafe Du Monde - all within easy reach without the parking headache. This duplex is a proven base for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Essence Fest, NYE, the Sugar Bowl, and every major event on the New Orleans calendar. Free street parking is available for when you do need the car.
Pet-friendly and available for both short visits and extended stays, the duplex offers self check-in via smart lock and luggage drop-off for flexible arrivals and departures. Please note: no parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking on the property.
