Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The neighbors are welcoming and friendly. The unique historic neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). The Point is home to a few wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars.

The space
Spread across a well-appointed duplex, the home offers over 1,000 square feet of comfortable living space filled with natural light. Whether you're here for a weekend festival or a longer stay, the layout is designed to feel like a real home - not just a place to sleep between adventures.
Sleeping arrangements
The queen bedroom is a calm, restful space with fresh linens and room-darkening shades to help you sleep in when the night runs late. The second bedroom features twin beds, a great setup for friends or family traveling together. Both rooms are stocked with extra pillows and blankets, and clothing storage is handled with a closet and dresser.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is built for real cooking - refrigerator, freezer, Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, and baking sheet are all here, along with cooking basics (pots and pans, oil, salt and pepper), dishes and silverware, and a dining table for shared meals. Start your mornings with a coffee before heading out, or come back from a long day and cook something proper.
Living & entertainment
The living area centers on a 55-inch HDTV with Chromecast, Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video. When you want something a little more tactile, spin records on the record player or browse through the books and reading material on hand. Fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace - desk, office chair, and table - make it easy to stay on top of things without leaving home.
Bathroom & laundry
The bathroom features a bathtub, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel, along with fresh towels. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays, and an iron and cleaning products are also on hand.
Comfort & safety
Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep things comfortable whatever the season. The property is equipped with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and an exterior security camera at the entry door.
Neighborhood & getting around
Barracuda tacos, local bars, and neighborhood cafés are steps away. The $2 ferry delivers you directly to the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and the Frenchmen Street jazz clubs in minutes. This location is a natural base for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Essence Fest, NYE, the Sugar Bowl, and every major New Orleans event on the calendar. Free street parking means no stress coming and going.
The duplex is pet-friendly, self check-in via smart lock, and set up for both short stays and long-term visits. Luggage drop-off is available for early arrivals and late departures.
