I didn’t care for the smell……. Also, I had the DND sign on my door the entire time & someone was trying to get in my room with a key. I kept asking what do you want they never responded. I looked out my window to see who out was. He walked away I opened my door Amb’s asked again he kept walking far. Called the desk they played dumb. Asked again upon my departure a bunch of lies and excuses. I had y sum with me what if I had ran to the store or something and he was in the room by himself that pmo real bad

The hotel itself was clean and room Was nice. Only things i wasn't too fond of. Was our neighbors in room 224 had kids were extremely loud and would last late past 10 pm. You could hear the mom yell and what sounded like a spanking a few occ. i even had my ear buds at max volum and would still hear it. It happened throughou our stay. The small gym was outdated. I didnt know there was a rip in the tred of the treadmill. I had the machine on 3 incline and 1.6 speed and i dodnt lnow it until my foot slipped! So be careful running. They had no clean towls to use or wipes to sanitize the machines. Most of them were so outdated. Its crazy how deep back the hotel Goes. It was a bit of a walk to where the breakfast was. Even for those that had to gef on the elevator. Limited options. The milk i used for cereal was luke warm. No kept cold. Only two cereal options. No fresh fruit or juice. It was spacious area for seating. We had fo pay $50 dep but wasnt explained to us if it was for amenities or damages? So i hope we get that back. That wasn't mentioned if we did or not. The beds were comfy and i like how the room had a shoe/luggage storage. A decent sized area where sink and ironing board were. More bathroom space. We got the room With the two double beds( it was cheaper than a queen or king) Ice machine in main area was down. Thankfully they had another one avail. Plus it was closer to the 200’s floor. The main parking is in the back and barely fit our truck!

Found out it was on the bad side of town. Ubers would cancel on us. Prostitution was right in front of the hotel. Got to the room and it smelled like mildew. One of the garbage cans was an empty, and there was used feminine products in it. Very cheap there were stains and a few holes in the wall. Went to the breakfast buffet, but they had nothing but carbs (cereal, toast, waffles) that was it. We felt really gross being there.

Hello, The room was completely unsafe. The door lock wasn't working and could be opened from the outside without a key card. I had to barricade the door with a sofa to be able to stay there one night. I left the next day and Super 8 refused to refund the remaining nights although they couldn't fix the door or offer me another room to move to with a working door lock. This was greatly disappointing. I tried in good faith to resolve this issue. I keep getting passed from customer rep to rep.

Hotel was basic, but clean and everything needed was provided …. ice, tv, refrigerator, microwave, etc. The staff were all friendly and helpful. If you’re accustomed to the Ritz, this isn’t the place for you, but we just needed a clean, safe place to shower and sleep, since we spent all our free time in the French Quarter or visiting the sites. “Breakfast” was provided, but VERY basic and limited. The bonus for us and the main decision maker, was not only the low price, but the FREE, secure (gated) and covered parking. I noticed there is also a large, uncovered parking area in the back for oversized vehicles or towed trailers (but still secured behind the gated lot entrance). Everyplace we checked, charged $35-$50 per night for parking. If this is a requirement for you, check the details on any hotel offering “free” parking as we asked for details and were told the free parking was actually very limited parking on the street! The surrounding neighborhood looked a bit sketchy, but we heard of no issues while there (3-nights) and we were close enough to the Quarter to have driven or Ubered. I will say, navigating the property was a bit of a challenge as it appeared the place may have, at some point, been an old motel (or possibly two melded together) to transform an outside corridor motel to an inside corridor hotel. It’s a bit chopped up and confusing, but not a deal breaker by any means.
