A gem in the garden district

This hotel was located in such a great spot to conveniently catch the street car and walk to restaurants. I was very happy with the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty, and I look forward to visiting again.

This was a tough visit, there was a major plumbing issue that brought water all over the first floor and stopped the water plumbing in our rooms for about an hour or two, several of the electoral outlets didn’t work so my cell phone wasn’t charged when I really needed it the most, It’s nice to have a pool but it’s tiny with one lap only and rather than giving out bottled water easily it was like a big deal - you had to have a certain type of Hilton honor like silver or gold to get a free water, which I think is ridiculous for a hotel not to give a few bottles of water to a room. Also it was so hot in human outside and the shower and sink could never give us cold water it was only warm to hot which was really annoying.
