I almost never leave reviews, but this was genuinely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. My boyfriend, our dog, and I had just driven nearly 10 hours from Texas to attend a wedding. When we arrived, the front desk gave us our room key but the moment we opened the door we were shocked. The room was completely filthy. The bed was unmade, there was leftover food from the previous guests, all the towels were dirty, and there were even used dog pads on the floor. We immediately went back to the front desk to let them know, and their response was that housekeeping wasn’t available and they had no other rooms. All they could do was refund us. After a long day of traveling, we were exhausted and disappointed. We ended up calling the Hilton down the street, and they welcomed us right away—pet included. The staff was kinder, the hotel was cleaner, and the entire experience was miles better. Because of this, I won’t ever consider staying at this hotel again the next time we’re in New Orleans. Hilton truly saved the day.

No heat. Had to cut a/c off to keep warm. I put on heater and turn the settings up to get warm and only cold air was blowing. They had no small wash clothe in bathroom, only big towels. No continental breakfast but it does have a restaurant added on to it. And the receptionist and maintenance guy was very polite and courteous. They were great

Room wasn’t clean. Dust and dirt behind the door. The mirror was sprayed but not cleaned. They have an amazing breakfast, brunch menu, but the overall appearance has fallen off. The small pillows were not a a pleasant surprise. We’ve stayed at the and had great experiences before, this go around was less than my expectations.

Crack across the wall. The opposite side of the room had hooks where a picture used to be.

The room was clean and with ample space. Best part is it was walking distance to sightseeing attractions. The only issue you will find is the parking. It's best to find parking in a parking lot with daily rates.

My stay wasn’t horrible, but there were definitely some areas that could be improved to make the experience better. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient, but the overall service felt a bit inconsistent. A little more attention to detail would go a long way — especially when it comes to cleanliness. Some areas of the room could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and a few small things that should’ve been checked before check-in were overlooked. None of these issues ruined the stay, but they added up and made the experience feel less polished than expected. With a bit more focus on room prep, cleanliness, and overall attention to detail, this could be a much smoother and more enjoyable place to stay.

The hotel was cold, usually you can walk into a hotel on a cold day and warm up not this hotel. It was cold on the lobby and also in the halls. I was taking a shower and the water stopped, someone must have flushed the toilet in another room. They have to do better. This is not my first time staying at the Blake but this is the first year I've had an issue.

They kept telling me not to have them near my phone, which I didn’t. They were old doors and overused cards. Too frustrating. Otherwise,would have rated hotel a 4.
