Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the apartment.

Algiers Point sits quietly on the west bank of the Mississippi - a neighborhood of creaky porches, street-corner music, and some of the best tacos in the city just around the corner. This ground-floor studio loft tucks you into the heart of it all, where historic charm and an easy, comfortable layout come together for a stay that feels genuinely settled rather than just passing through.
Living space
The open-concept layout makes the most of every square foot, with natural light moving through the space throughout the day. Sink into the living area with a 55" HDTV loaded with Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chromecast, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and Netflix - or put a record on the player and let the afternoon slow down on its own. A dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi keeps you connected if you need to get things done. Central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan keep the temperature dialed in whatever the weather outside.
Sleeping arrangements
A king bed dressed in fresh linens anchors the sleeping area, with extra pillows and blankets on hand for however you like to sleep. Room-darkening shades block out the light when you're ready to rest, and the private entrance means you come and go entirely on your own schedule.
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking - Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, hot water kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and baking sheet. Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a dining table round things out, so whether you're pulling together a quick breakfast before the ferry or winding down with a proper dinner, you've got everything you need. Coffee is provided to get your mornings started.
Bathroom
The private bathroom includes a stand-up shower with hot water, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a hair dryer. A bathtub is also available.
Practical extras
A washer and dryer are in the unit, with a laundromat nearby for longer stays. Hangers, an iron, a closet, and a dresser keep your things organized. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival easy, and free parking is available on premises and on the street. Exterior security cameras at the entry door are in place for added peace of mind.

Getting around
The $2 Algiers Ferry puts you across the river in minutes - French Quarter, Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, Bourbon Street, and Mardi Gras parade routes are all a short ride away. Major festivals including Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, and Bayou Boogaloo are easy to reach from here. Closer to home, you'll find local cafés, Barracuda tacos, and a riverfront walk that's hard to beat at sunset.
