I requested room service every day, and on the second day, the bed and fresh towels were made. On the 3rd day, the bed wasn't made, some of the old towels were left over with all of the fresh towels placed on the floor, and the bed wasn't made. I want to thank the lady who checked us in was Sabrina she was perfect. Warm welcome, gave good suggestions, and called to follow up as to if the room was to my liking. She was off for the remainder of my stay, until check-out. We needed a late check-out to which she allowed and asked about my birthday pic. She was the best part of my stay at the hotel next to my bottle of bubbles and birthday card when I got in the room. The ceiling in the room needs some attention

We needed a handicap accessible bathroom and Sharon went out of her way to make sure we got what we needed. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful about things to do and where to eat. But Sharon stood out in serving the needs of the customers.

Overall the hotel was ok! The staff were welcoming and friendly and the hotel had the movie “The Shining” appeal and feel so it made it interesting. Coupled with the dark features and skull decor made it a good chuckle. The hallway and room on my floor was really musty, but the temperature inside remained cold and not humid feeling. It’s August so that may have been the reason, but the second day the rooms were being cleaned and it helped make the musty smell lighter. My only real issue was that the air conditioner blew right onto the beds making it miserable at times and because of the musty smell I didn’t mess with the system and make it worse or break the AC so we just dealt with it. They also didn’t offer us my upgrade which was disappointing. Other than that they have a satisfying breakfast, great bar and it was an overall good stay. The best thing about the hotel is its staff. They rock!!!

Location was good very walkable. However sink dripped water into floor all weekend. My stay was from friday to monday house keeping knocked on door at 7 am. Who wants room cleaned then? They never came again whole weekend. I set towels outside door they picked them up didnt clean room or leave new towels. They did offer me change room. I have a mobility issue they should have sent maintenance to solve this problem. I saved for months for this trip they made it a bust with dirty floor had brush teeth in shower couldn't use sink all weekend
