We had a short stay which was a bummer but it was our chance at a quick getaway for our 10yr anniversary. A night to ourselves w/o our children doesn’t come often so we always hope to make it worth it. This hotel met & then exceeded our expectations; starting with the front desk/staff who didn’t let the late night hours interfere with their dedication to customer service & making us feel warm & welcomed from start to finish. Not only were they super nice, but they made it a point to go above & beyond after informing us that due to our late-night check-in, they had run out of the suites I originally booked. W/o skipping a beat, they upgraded us to a presidential suite to accommodate us for the inconvenience. (They had no idea we were on our anniversary trip nor did they realize how much sweeter they had just made our trip) The room itself (smoking room) was a little outdated, but it was clean. I was completely taken aback at how clean & fresh it smelled! That confirmed just how well the hotel is taken care of. Room service for breakfast the next morning was a tad pricey but the food was exquisite & all the staff were super friendly. The convenience of having the other hotel connected along with a variety of shops & fine dining; this hotel was absolutely everything we wanted and needed for our special night. Thank you for making our quick anniversary overnight into a night for us to remember. We can’t wait to come back!

Very nice stay at Great Cedar Hotel at Foxwoods. shopping is walkable. Healthy, affordable dining. professional workers ,very nice people and we enjoy playing at the casino. The bedroom is huge and very comfy, very quite too. We got a lot of rest, relax, refresh . We are planning to go back in the near future.

Staff were very rude, incompetent, and unwilling to help. Shops are fun and good for families but limited options for dinning or food after 8pm. Not a-lot of breakfast spots around Cedar Hotel. Spa attendants are also rude when it was my first time and not sure how things work.

We waited 45 minutes in line to check in. When we got to the front of the line all they had available was smoking rooms. The non smoking rooms would be an additional wait time. When the non smoking room would be ready we would have to get back in the line and wait another 45 minutes. We ended up just taking the smoking room. Not the greatest experience considering the money they charge.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay. Everybody gets very critical in their reviews of their stays and often complain that the accommodations were outdated because the hotel was old. The Cedar Hotel was amazing even though it is the oldest of the hotels. I loved the design of the room and all the people that worked at Foxwoods were kind and very helpful. I called for an extra blanket and room service was fast and friendly. It was amazing. Thanks

Checked in 1 hour after check in time and no rooms available unless we wanted a smoking room. Desk clerk found a handicap non smoking room and put us there. I didn’t need a handicap room so I asked if that was ok and they said yes. Room had an immovable shower spigot that only sprayed water on the floor. Unusable. Room clean and basic but overpriced for what you get.

Check in was at 4, we arrived at 5:30 and the room was still not ready, we were told that we would have to wait then stand on line again and check in again. After waiting a little while we stood on line to check in again and the room was still not ready, but the person at the desk talked to the manager and "did us a favor" and downgraded our room to one that was ready.
