The bunkbeds were on the floor. They cut the feet off the bunkbeds and laid the bunk bottom bunk on the floor then you look around it’s a spotted floor, but it’s not really a spotted floor look closely. It’s urine spots from all the pets and animals they had in that room on top of that. The smell when you open the door was incredible and the pictures for the property were severely misleading you look out the window for your window with a view and there’s a garbage can and all you see is that is a view. I called and complain to the owner. We couldn’t leave fast enough. I decided to drive another hour to go somewhere else after driving five hours thank God I did. I probably would’ve woke up with bedbug bites. And probably hospitalized from my asthma problems because all the pet dander cause they don’t clean. If I had something to say about this property, unique, it would have to be Louisiana Bayou vibes

Although I was initially skeptical of having no onsite management, the check-in via text was flawless. Location is a quick 10 minute walk to historic downtown Dunsmuir where restaurants and a brewpub offer options to recharge after a day of driving and hiking.

Great little motel

It's an average-looking place, but it has a really nice room and a comfortable bed. The first time I checked in online, it took a minute to get up to speed, but it was easy overall. It's a great place!

This motel was a welcomed pit stop on our longer road trip. You can tell that they gave these rooms a facelift and it’s done well enough. Housekeeping left a very sweet handwritten note to welcome my family. There were ants and a pair of flys in the room when we arrived which didn’t bother us but it was worth noting. To settle in we watched tv (which was a great size) however every 20 minutes or so the tv would pause on its own. As someone who falls asleep to background noise this was pretty frustrating. Overall this is your average roadside motel.

Noisy

I asked if I could get a room on the second floor. They said yes but still gave me a room on the first floor. I could hear the footsteps from upstairs clearly. And the waterpipes were very noisy. There was a fly in the room all night.
