Last time I stayed my key card failed many times. The Front Desk offered me a drink coupon at the Restaurant for the inconvenience. The Restaurant Manager said it was not valid for that reason. Very poor customer service. It’s not acceptable. The front desk and restaurant should be on the same page.

The suites with king beds and kitchenette were comfortable and spacious. The facility is a bit dated but clean and just perfect for exploring the Mount Shasta area

We had specks/spots on the bed the first night which worried me. Under the mattress was immaculate which made me think they recently changed them for a reason. We changed the sheets ourselves. By the time I left, I had over 30 bites from my knees to ankles on both legs. My doctor said they were likely bed bugs or mites from the hotel. I called and the manager never called me back and refused a refund request. I went through Expedia and they were told that Mt Shasta doesn’t have bed bugs. I looked it up and there are reports that they do. Carpets were old, dirty and smelly. No elevators except in area. Hot tub was closed and this was the one reason we booked this hotel. They didn’t even bother to notify us. $1,200 for three nights is way too expensive. Stayed in room 227. Beware! Stay here at your own risk. I’ll never stay here again! Absolutely disgusted! Expedia was helpful but we received no resolution and I provided pictures with my dispute! It won’t let me add them here.

Look for other options

We picked up a room with balcony only to find dust and construction debris from the balcony. Take your kids into the pool, you will find yourself in cold water, a spa with no water with a board that it isn’t working and men and women bathroom next to the pool with shower handles taken away. In some way it’s very eco friendly. I think there are better options around to choose than this one.
