I stayed at Moms Place for 3 days. I come to Jamaica often and have stayed at many places in Negril. I was very happy with my stay here. The staff was amazing. I felt like i was in a little cottage in Negril. Very clean and safe. I will definitely be back.

Although the room wasn’t cleaned on a regular basis, we loved our stay. Beautiful locations and the rooms were as described. It was quiet season so I understand there was work being done on the property but more routine room cleaning would have been nice, for example, every other day. The employees were pleasant and helpful. Loved Paola who always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will be back.

I was looking for a home away from home. Mom‘s places is as close as it gets to a wholesome, calm environment with access to everything you may need. I frequent Jamaica often and stayed in many guest houses in many hotels. I’ve even rented from locals and I will say that Mom‘s place exceeds my expectations. I will be returning every time I come to Jamaica. The price is right and the vibes are memorable. Like waking up to smooth jazz in the morning on the beach.

This unique family owned resort sits right on the edge of the 7 mile beach. Services and accommodations were perfect for what I was looking for. Very economical owners on the property daily and very inviting. Love the fact they secured the area during the night and throughout the day. My room was clean and spacious for 2 with my own bathroom. They serve continental breakfast in the morning. Wish there was a better internet connection, open kitchen and bar for lunch and dinner, but overall it was a great stay! The friendly staff, great beach, cozy accommodations and laidback environment are the highlights of Mom’s Place. Every day presents a picture-perfect view of the Caribbean Sea and awesome sunset. I booked one night but ended up staying six weeks. Special mention to Angel, Maria, Paola and Elvis. See you soon!

Do not stay here. Ignorant owners & ants

The people do not speak English and are very ignorant. Our bus got stuck in the sand because of poor sign posting. There is no parking here. You have to park across in the next hotel. The owners would not help us get the bus out of the sand. Just some board would have helped. The gate should have had the signpost for mom's place. Instead the had in further on down the land on the beach. Do not drive down to the end. It took me took us 3 hours to get the key for my room and we had to beg to use the bathroom. I had to call the police to get it. The room was very basic. They didn't even give us the WiFi password. Electrical plugs hanging off the wall. Ants all over the bathroom. Please avoid this place to rent. Owners do not care about customer service.

Property is located closer to the lower end of the seven mile beach, easy access to the town. You can find some really great spot on this end of the beach along with small shop on the street. Recommend 1fusion Negril for a night out. The hotel is a great spot the room for me are simple and really gives you that rusty Jamaica vibe. The property is very well kept, you can only access it from the "Lane" that connect the beach to the Blvd. I didnt have the chance try the food at Moms Place, but the smell coming out of that kitchen seem Legit!

I enjoyed my stay as it was a low key place. I didn't care for the loud music next door and wished the hotel had beach towels available for guests. Oh and need to make sure water, sodas and juices for drinks are supplied.
