"Overall, I was satisfied with the listing. The rental was very clean. For New Orleans, there should be some Whiskey glasses in the room. There were only some tea glasses and coffee mugs. The pictures that are still posted, showed a different coffee table for the couch and there were end tables on each end of the couch/lounge that one could rest a glass on if needed. Those were not there. I had pull up a chair from the desk to rest my glass. The bed was only moderately comfortable and the pillows were all the same, very thick and hard. There should be a variety in a rental like this. The rental was listed as "steps to the French Quarter." Maybe.... 3000 steps but you would not want to walk in this neighborhood at night. As one comes out the gate, to the left there is a bar or something where people were loitering and noisy. So, the room was fine overall. Once inside the gates and inside the apartment all was good. But it was a little sketchy. I did not get that from the listing or reviews. Host communication was good. I believe if there had been a serious problem, he or she would have been right on it. So in summary. I would not park on the street. We used one of the parking garages helpfully listed in the add. The room was nice enough. Everything we wanted to do was a short Uber ride, but not walkable. Price was good. Pillows, Mattress, end tables and just a few other inexpensive upgrades would be great."
