Fabulous service, Tyron at front desk greeted us every day with a warm smile and friendly conversation. he offered ideas to us when we asked regarding things to do and places to eat at. It was GREAT having a secure parking lot to park our rented car in, gate that opens to parking lot was a bit slow to open though. plenty of towels provided in room, Pool was clean and plenty areas to sit in patio area. Would definitely recommend this hotel. By the way they had one of the best free breakfast buffets, staff that took care of that area did an excellent job with the variety of the food, cleanliness of area and helpful and social.... thanks all!!

The Best Western offers good value for the price. Its location is ideal—just a 10–15 minute walk from the heart of the French Quarter, close enough to enjoy the action but far enough for a quieter night’s sleep; that is, if you don’t end up with a room facing the super busy Rampart Street. You do pass through a slightly sketchy area when walking to the heart of the FQ on foot, but it feels fine during the day. At night, especially if you’re traveling solo or have enjoyed one too many Hurricanes on Bourbon Street, I’d recommend grabbing an Uber or Lyft back. The front desk and breakfast staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which adds a nice touch to the stay. Housekeeping, however, was a bit inconsistent. During my four-day visit, my room was cleaned every other day despite leaving towels out as instructed for replacement. I could never get the TV to work; it was too complicated with multiple remotes. The rooms themselves are small, but clean and comfortable. The elevator is super tiny, a bit dated, and smelled moldy which is probably typical for an older building in hot and humid New Orleans, but it does the job despite being past due for inspection. The courtyard is charming, and the pool area looked lovely, though I didn’t have time to enjoy them because I was too busy exploring the city. Overall, this hotel is a good choice if you’re looking for a convenient, affordable place to sleep and shower between adventures and don’t want to hang out at the hotel.

Upon arrival the first room we were put in the air didn’t work or the refrigerator. So I went to complain they changed our room the air worked and refrigerator was cold, but the next morning when I went to shower the water did not get hot. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance up which delayed my day by the way…. The maintenance man agreed and offer to change our room again but at this point it seems like every room has one or more things wrong I was very dissatisfied and believe I should get some type of refund for the poor condition when the reviews reflect/ advertise a different experience and there were dead roaches in the stair well the nobody bothered to clean up

A little further from bourbon than I wanted to be so we kept having to drive to the area and pay for parking in the parking garage but the day time staff were great! My first encounter with the first overnight lady was HORRIBLE! When we got to NO there was an issue with the previous room that I’d booked a month prior so we ended up having to cancel which left us with no room at 2 am after a 7 hour drive. I called around and when I spoke with best western over the phone, the lady I spoke with booked me for this location for immediate check in and the lady at the front desk was extremely RUDE! We ended up not being able to check in at that time and were not charged because apparently there were no rooms available so we slept in our car. However as I mentioned, the ladies at the front desk during the day were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING from the first encounter yesterday morning, until we checked out this morning!

I booked a courtyard view but my room faced the parking lot . Most of the staff were friendly and helpful . The elevators are tiny . The rooms are very small . I chose this hotel because it was convenient and perking was secured and pretty reasonable. I would choose a different hotel next visit

The pool was clean and clear, the breakfast was wonderful, the room was clean, and the facilities were nice and it was just a few blocks away from everything. The only complaint that I have for the whole stay was our room didn’t have hot water. Wednesday when we checked in, we passed by the maintenance guys who told us we had to leave the hot water running for about 10 minutes for it to work. Well we tried that 3 times for about 30 minutes each time so the next morning I told the front desk and she had someone up there within the hour. Maintenance guy “fixed” hot water, it worked the one time on Thursday. We didn’t realize until Friday evening it had quit working again and we were checking out the next morning so it wasn’t worth the trouble getting someone to come up again or changing rooms. Saying all this to say just go ahead and ask for a different room if you run into this problem just go ahead and ask for a different room. Everything else was wonderful I would stay again.
