The bedroom trashcan is about as big to fit two empty drink cans in.. too small. There was a spider on the ceiling when I lay down and the next morning he was gone 😳. The parking lot is so tight and it’s made of gravel, very hard to maneuver in there. There were no close by parking lots for any visitors as advertised-they are blocks and blocks away. The TV didn’t work right, no channels ever came up, wifi didn’t help either. Bathroom sliding door off track. Not private at all. Positives are door codes and communication worked great, the bed is soft and clean, the bathroom was clean and the air conditioner/heating system worked great.

Though the room itself was cute, we had several issues with our stay. It was difficult to check in because the pedestrian gate wasn't working and we were not notified of this issue until the following morning. Of the several emails I received from the Iris leading up to my stay, none of them mentioned the issue with the pedestrian gate. We were also told that we could leave our luggage in the office after we checked out on Sunday. However, when we checked out Sunday morning, there was no one in the office and we had to call a manager to resolve the issue. The staff was responsive to issues when we contacted them, but it was frustrating that there were these issues to begin with.

It’s in a dangerous part of town, rife with drugs sales & prostitution. When we arrived at 12am bc our flight was delayed I was shocked & scared bc it was in a sketchy part of NOLA. They would not allow us to leave & get our money back. I called Expedia. They asked them to allow us to leave & give us our money back but they refused. We heard a gun go off one night
