We ended up missing our flight so we needed something last minute and this place came across. I will say that this place is very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable and they provided toiletries which was very nice. Had a smart tv so came in very handy for us to listen to our music. I very much enjoyed the stay and we had no problem at all. Would recommend this place!

The location was very convenient, close to restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The airport and downtown bus stops were only one block away. Trolley stop was right in front of the property. We had some minor issues but Oscar resolved them with care and speed. The place was very spacious.

Location, location, location. What a great place to spend your time in Miami. The room was super clean, the beds were comfy and we had an extremely quiet sleep. Oscar, the manager, called us and treated us VIP since the start. The instructions for checking in were clear, so there is really no need to have an actual person there for that. Enjoy your time in Miami Beach and relax in this cozy property.

This property is in the perfect location and is was a great space. There are so mamy amazing restaurants and stores within walking distance, even a Publix. The beach is a very easy 3 block walk. The porch was the perfect place to have a drink and watch the neighborhood. It was clean and well appointed. The full 6 seat dining table was great for meals and games. The beds were comfortable and both bathrooms were spacious. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove, microwave, and fridge. Stay here.... you will not be disappointed!

The location of this hotel is perfect for late nights on Ocean Drive, it is close enough to the action for a short walk but not too close for parties to keep you up at night. The courtyard was a mainstay for us after our nights out, to kick back relax and have a few more beers before heading off to bed. All the guests and staff were very kind and friendly and we had many great chats and drinks with our fellow guests. The provided beach accommodations was a huge plus, umbrellas, beach towels and other items are available for guests to borrow, and the proximity to the beach made it more than manageable to carry it for the trip. Whenever I am back in Miami I will definitely be staying here.

We loved our stay at Villa Italia. The room was clean, spacious and well-located. If you want to stay near Miami Beach, this is the place for you. We paid for the parking which was definitely worth doing - just 2 mins walk away and hyper-convenient. I must single out Oscar's exemplary service. He took the time to call to ask us about our stay and if we were comfortable not once, but 3 times. That personal touch meant a lot to us, and it's something one does not receive often even in 5-star established hotel chains. In a word: fantastic. We would love to stay here again and fully recommend it.

This little hotel is great. Hassle free check in, as in just a code and you’re in your room. The room was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect with a short walk to the beach. The fact that it’s lower SOBE means it’s quieter and more of a local vibe. There’s a Walgreens which was great. I did have a few issues which is why I gave it 4 stars. The office was always closed so I had to communicate via email and eventually phone. But the responses were fast and the custodian guy was very friendly and efficient. I would say stay here again.

Everything about this property is brilliant, its not too far from anywhere, the rooms are good size with very comfortable beds, an OLED flatscreen tv, a cooler, AC, and a modern bathroom. When you want to sit outside on their front porch there is alot of room, 4 tables with umbrellas to provide shade, and a couch. the customer service was also brilliant. I spoke with oscar and the main customer service desk and got any query resolved within 10-15 minutes. Oscar was extremely helpful, even helping extend my stay due to a delayed flight for no extra cost. The price to stay at the villa was also a bargain and the rest of the staff + cleaners were friendly and helpful. 10/10 i would come back, worth the 10 hours in flights.

I just wanted to start to say that everything from the start to the end was amazing. We had 10 great days there. After day one the manager Oscar called and asked if we needed anything and explained how the property works. He also had some useful advices abouth Miami. The cleaning staff was super sweet and helpful. The AC was also better then most of the other hotel we have stayed on with the same stars. South of fifth is a very cozy, safty, and very nice area. We think its the best area of everthing on Miami beach and have stayed on many different spots, but nothing compare to South of fifth. Restaurants, residental buildings, parks, locals always say hey and so on and so on…. We Are diffently coming back to Villa Italia and South of fifth !!!!!! Highly highly recmmended !!!! From Norway with love !!! 🇳🇴❤️🙏🤗👏👍
