The staff were wonderful. I came in on a red eye flight and the staff was happy to hold my luggage until check-in time. I was able to go eat and hang out at the beach. They called me when my room was ready an hour early. The room was really nice and comfortable. What a cute place. I love the decor. I only stayed one night and in the morning I was going to go find breakfast and the staff stopped me and told me about the breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. They offer a nice discount for people staying at The Avalon. Everything was great. I would love to come again. Hope to see Avalon again soon.

Rosario kicked off my husband’s birthday celebration with a Happy Birthday song and a delicious dessert. I also appreciated the early check-in and they were able to keep our luggage safe while we waited to depart for our cruise.

Staff were very nice, helpful, polite and efficient. Room was super clean. Restaurant was very good. We reserved a room with a beach view which was lovely. Bar has a cozy atmosphere. Missed not having a pool and a seating or lounge area especially that there is such a perfect beach and promenade view.

Can’t complain. It’s an older hotel but they kept it nice and tidy, the bathroom is a little small and a bit outdated but I enjoyed the fridge in the closet the lights by the beds and the water refill station next to the elevator. The hallway always smelled fresh even with having carpet all around. Definitely recommend this hotel. It was nice and the staff is amazing, they keep this place running smoothly!

Lots of hidden fees. Parking two blocks away. They charge you $45 for old rusty beach chairs that aren’t usable. Staff so loud and slamming doors all night long. The worst stay ever.
