Staff were so friendly and helpful. I left my bag in an Uber on the way from the airport. They kindly went to great lengths helped me and checked CCTV footage. Plus they made a special effort for my son’s birthday with a lovely card balloons and chocolates ! The hotel was lovely , great pool , very clean and overall a great experience!

Pleasant Short staycation

Always enjoy staying here, convenient location, spa pool and friendly staff. The only problem is majority of their rooms don’t have window / balcony. Overall great hotel if you get it at the right price.

This was the perfect getaway with my youngest son who is 9. Of course we had to hit the pool first up on arrival, then he also managed to get a swim in before we checked out the next day. After our swim we walked through nearby hardware lane and loved the atmosphere there. We also popped in to the karaoke booths just a few doors down and he loved that too.

First time staying at Dorsett Melbourne. Such an amazingly pleasant experience. We came here for our anniversary and brought our 9 month old with us. We had asked for a baby cot for the duration of our stay and it was already set up when we arrived. Weve tried several hotels in the city including Crown Metropol, and this has to be the best one for us. Cl Convenient location. Spencer street dfo within walkable distance, parked up there and walked over. 8 levels so jumping on a lift wasnt a long wait. Pools were super clean as well as the Gym. Staff are lovely and very attentive. We'll be back again!

Unfortunately check in was incredibly slow but i do not know if this was due to expedia or the hotel, The room had a dirty pair of underwear left when we arrived so clearly not serviced very well. Although breakfast was in the booking each morning we were queried and asked for proof. Worst though we had a wallet go missing with little done to see if the room was accessed. Overall not a great stay but in reality the hitel itself is reasonable
