Hotel being upgraded as a change of ownership & rebranding to become "COMFORT INN". A very well known brand. Rooms look really very good now. Bathrooms look good. There are mini-fridges in rooms. Air conditioning/heating & windows can be opened for fresh air. Free of bugs, roaches etc. Staff very very friendly. Family operated & free of major hotel issues, they will try to resolve. Due to upgrades, there is still daytime construction to finish up around property & on the three different hotel floors of the hotel. But hotel still very popular with tourist. Been there before while in Torrance at least 5-6 times for the last year or two. Restful place at night. Only negatives are: No microwaves in rooms. Shower water pressure is a little low, for hotel this size. Water hot/cold works okay. If you are on the 1st or 2nd floor, if people are walking around in the middle of the night, you can hear them, as the 2nd floor/3rd floor layers in between were not, constructed thick enough between those floors.

Could find parking easy tues-thur, checking in before 3:30pm. (Covered parking area) Hotel under ongoing remodel & rebranding, so far the rooms have been super upgraded, and now the rest of the hotel is receiving major upgrades. Will become Comfort Inn chain.

Changing brands soon to become COMFORT INN chain of hotels. Very big brand name in the USA. Property has been upgrading all rooms & hotel areas for awhile now. Room are very much nicer. Wide screen TVs are a plus. Heating & air conditioning. Only contain fridges. No coffee makers or microwaves, which is the only negative for what the customers are getting.

I didn’t look into shopping Parking was easy to access. However, the surrounding wasn’t clean. The room wasn’t clean! There was hair on the toilet seat. The trash can hadn’t been emptied. There were cigarette burns on the Spread.etc I checked out immediately!

Staff was friendly and the construction wasn’t too much of a bother. Just wish the vending machines had stuff in them that would have been a nice option for my teen. I did however find a roach in the bathroom on the morning I checked out. Not sure if it was cause of the rain but still it was gross.

At this time I am requesting a 100% refund on this stay and this property should be taken off Expedia. We checked in at 2pm and went to our room which smelled pretty bad so of mildew. Left our bags and turned the a\c on and left the room to do our things. We got back about midnight. At exactly 1:49 am I was woken up by screams in the hallway, threats between the couple that was arguing and loud bangs on the wall. They would go in and out of the room, which next door to us. With more screaming, pounding on the walls. It got quiet for about 10 mins and we were trying to fall asleep again when once again they came out screaming and slamming on the walls. At that moment I tried calling the front office, well the phone didn’t work. It had no dial tone. I tried pressing 0 and nothing. I didn’t want to come out of my room because I was scared these people might do something and I also couldn’t leave my daughter alone in the room. We decided to just get ready and leave the room. After we got ready and heard all the noise had quieted down we went to check out. I explained what had happened to the clerk and he was very rude. He kept insisting that the phone worked and I told him no it didn’t, he began to argue with him until I told him to stop that we were leaving anyways. He said we could stay til 11 which was checkout time. I’m told him no because we didnt feel safe. He said ok. But we were never offered another room or anything to accompany us after what we went through. Very unprof
