The place did not look like a hotel , it was nasty and it had bugs in the bathroom and on the sheets. The entrance was walking down an ally way to then find an elevator to the 2 floor. there was no front entrance to the hotel . Will never ever stay in this hotel again . This has been the worst experience I had with Howard Johnson Hotels

Receptionist barely acknowledged us upon check-in. No “welcome,” no “enjoy your stay,” no smile. No customer service skills. Toilet was not working properly. We had to borrow a plunger to fix it ourselves several times during our stay. Paper-thin walls meant plenty of noise from adjacent rooms. And so on.

Staff and room cleaners are great. But the property is very old and need renovation. They were nice to allow us to change rooms twice because of bad smell. There was a guest lady lost her mind at late night/early morning and called names and slammed the door many times. Eventually police came to take her away. The other day, the hotel next door had a grand police car show, 13 of the police cars came for a quarrel/fight in pool party or something. Really bad neighborhood.
