The bed despite being a double was too small. I'm average height btw The pillows were the lumpiest I've ever experienced. The bathroom extractor fan was noisy and lasted way too long, especially when the bathroom door was in such close proximity to the bed

I like the hotel, but I didn't quite like some of the staff. Some of them, I feel didn't have an idea on things I ask about like if we can leave our luggage behind while we're traveling elsewhere in the UK, it was weird that the first person I asked didn't know and we were told that she needed to ask the manager. There were also issues about me transferring to another room after my first night, which was alright, but again the staff in the morning seemed not to know about it the following day, so it took a while and many conversations. I just feel that the staff can practice better handing off information to one another so they can address customer concerns more efficiently. Also didn't like much of the choices of breakfast.

I was given a windowless room in the basement of the hotel which is against code in a number of countries. I really don’t think it’s good practice to offer windowless rooms and it was a real disappointment that this hotel is offering them.
