Check in took an hour. Poor service and process.
Very dated. Very hot.
Came down for breakfast to be told it wasn’t included. I showed reception my booking information showing it was included. This took additional time. Breakfast poor choice, cold cooked food.
I was being dealt with by a female receptionist and the male receptionist just decided to take over and was really quite rude/patronising to her - it was uncomfortable.
Only 1 lift working.
Room was tiny - if you were quite an oversized person, you wouldn't have fit in the shower.
On the plus side - beds and pillows really comfy and location was perfect for The Royal Albert Hall.
Staff were wonderful, very helpful and courteous. All very good, comfortable bed, clean sheets etc. My only one disappointment was there was no hot water at all during my stay.

My wife and daughter arrived at the hotel to check-in and were told it hadn’t been paid for even though it was paid for on booking on Expedia. She was made to pay the balance again until she could contact me to get the receipt from the booking. She was then refunded the money which will take upto 5 days which is unacceptable in my opinion as it wasn’t an insignificant amount of money to be out of pocket ahead of our trip in london.
Room was newly furnished and clean otherwise.
When we arrived we told the staff in the reception, that we had tickets for the theater and that we had less than an hour to get to the theater.
We asked if they could give us directions as to how to get to the show, "ABBA Voyage" in time.
The staff gave us directions - 6 stops with the tube direction Holborn, and then no more than 10 minutes by foot.
The only problem was that when we arrived, we found that the ABBA-show was 45 minutes away, and we could not - by far - get there in time.
