Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
When I book from Expedia they don’t have resort fee they charged resort fee 120 dollar plus I didn’t get my deposit back yet. Room Heater not working it’s not hotel
I was greeted by wonderful hotel staff
Shout out to Leanne at checkout and I forgot the name of the lady who checked me in but she was sweet as well long blond hair straight and wore red lipstick
I was so nervous to book here due to the previous reviews but I truly had an incredible stay. Yes, the rooms are dated but they were very clean and we had an incredible view!
Overbooked our stay, told us our reservation meant nothing if we weren’t in our room by 11 pm.
We stood in a line of 30-40 other people from 2-4am while they tried to check people out and clean rooms. When we finally made it to the desk they said it wasn’t their problem and wouldn’t even comp the first night even though we didn’t get to enter our room until 5am. Extremely rude inconsiderate staff, “manager” wasn’t available to be talked to. I travel for a living and have never experienced such utter disregard in my life.
Didn’t receive any house keeping during 4 day stay.
The room was very spacious, the beds were so comfortable, the staff were very accommodating and the HVAC system was perfect. We didn’t like that when calling the operator, we didn’t reach a person, but finally got our questions resolved after a few tries.
Staff was amazingly helpful and willing to solve any problem, the room was so clean and spacious. The AC worked but the vent placement made it take a while to cool the whole room down

You get what you pay for. Rio is in the middle of a remodel. It’s long over due. The room I was in dated.
Pro:
-Mini fridge in room.
-Nice couch.
-Good counter space
-Spacious room for the price.
Cons:
-The tv reception went in and out
-Red stains on the walls. I don’t even want to know…
-The shower was missing shower gel.
-Note pad but no pen.
I know most of the cons are small but the small things bring a room together and contribute to a persons experience. Especially, since my first day I stayed in the room to just catch up on over due rest.
If you want a mellow, quieter experience this a good place to stay there’s not a lot going on. Being off the strip can have it’s perks but I personally think being in an a more walkable area is beneficial.
