The room was perfect! Nice big comfy bed, plenty of room, and a nice bathroom. The room was clean (and I loved the pink tint on the windows!!!) It was about a block walk to the Duece, which runs 24/7 up and down the strip. I rode the Duece/109 to back and forth from the airport - was easy and felt safe.

We've stayed a number of times at the Ahern, and honestly, it deserves 5-stars. However, the mattresses in the room were so incredibly hard on this stay that it was nearly impossible to sleep (please note this has NEVER occurred before). I did let the front desk staff know about it in the morning (we were only staying one night), and he was immediately responsive, asked if I wanted to speak with management, and when I declined, said he'd let them know.

Nice hotel with a reasonable price. A complimentary breakfast is always a plus. I wish it were more kid-friendly. There's no specific bedsheet cover for the crib; they just use regular bed sheets. They also don't help assemble the cribs like most hotels do. Additionally, there was some miscommunication about the morning checkout time during one of our stays.
