Stayed 5 nights in what I would describe as the hotels.com special I guess. We were in the suite next to the elevator next to a door that worked only as an exit as per the paper taped to the door and on the bottom floor so right by the parking lot. For 5 nights we stayed we had a do not disturb sign on the door the first 2 days. The last three days we did not and the room WAS NEVER CLEANED.
I cleaned the drain area under the long metal plate in the shower as the shower wouldn’t drain… it was disgusting. There was mildew all
Over around the shower. The bathroom in general needs an actual cleaning.
Front desk staff was kind enough.
The elevator by the front desk broke on our first night there and remained broken as per the cone and sign that remained through our stay.
The elevator next to our room at the end of the hallway worked the whole time so we enjoyed that….
The hotel smelled of marijuana every evening. Seems strand as I had to sign a contract stating I wouldn’t smoke in my room or be fined yet the hotel was lit up every night.
We had stayed at this hotel a few years back and it was a much better experience.
If this is the new la Quinta then the rates should be much much lower as this was only a step above a motel 6.
