I had a disappointing experience during my stay. Prior to arrival, I was told the hotel would note our request for an early check-in at 11:00 AM due to an event we needed to attend. However, when we arrived, we were informed the hotel was sold out and that we could not check in until 4:00 PM. This completely defeated the purpose of requesting early check-in. We were told we would be called if anything opened up, but after waiting nearly four hours with no communication, my husband decided to call the front desk himself—only then were we told that a room was available.
Once checked in, additional issues made the stay even more frustrating. The second elevator in the ocean view area was out of order, which resulted in long wait times for the single working elevator throughout our stay. The ice machine on our floor (4th floor) was also out of ice, as was the one on the 5th floor. We had to take the stairs up to the 6th floor just to get ice because waiting for the elevator was unreasonable.
Lastly, the room itself was extremely outdated, which did not match expectations for the price or experience.
Overall, the lack of communication, broken amenities, and dated rooms made this stay far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.
