Our room was not clean at all during the four night stay. Nor did we receive any clean towels. Our bathroom sink was constantly backed up, even though I spoke with an attendant at the front desk whom programmed the request into the system. The evening prior to departure I twice journeyed to the front desk and requested clean towels. It was not until I called Housekeeping and waited outside my room for twenty minutes that the finally arrived. The Security Department sent two officers to our room for a welfare check because we had not had our room cleaned for two days. Oh the irony. Definitely a major disconnect regarding communication amongst departments.

The room was dark and dingy looking. It was loud as Hell with a concert outside the window. The dresser drawers didn't stay closed. The carpet looked and smelled funky. Overall it was a bust for me.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We love the location that it’s so close to Fremont but we were disappointed in the room. It faced a big concert and upon arrival I asked if we could be on the other side not facing the band and it was nope this is what you booked. When I said we don’t have an issue staying in the tower but on the opposite side it was met with sorry we are full. They did not try to accommodate us which was disappointing as we came for my husbands birthday

We have stayed here before and this was the worst!! Beginning with checking in, the staff had no idea what they were doing!! Our suite was cold even though we asked for help with the heat, but it was cold the whole time!! Our keycard won’t work twice!! We were disappointed this time!! Hopefully it gets better!!

My room was spacious and elegant which has always been consistent at the Golden Nugget. Even though the showerhead did not have good pressure, the shower space was amazing. My biggest issue were the hidden charges assessed me upon arrival ( $236 for a 4 night stay). It is this type of dishonesty that vexes me about Atlantic City and it is sad that the practice has migrated to Nevada. Unfortunately, because of this lack of transparency, I will no longer stay at this wonderful spot on subsequent visits.
