As many reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are HOT. There is no AC and I didn’t think it would be an issue as you’re so high up in elevation and it is colder & windier than down at lake level. However, we had to open up every window in the unit with all fans on full blast and there was minimal airflow inside so it remained hot. Plus we were ground level & we worried about a bear coming through the screens to our unit for all the food we had in the kitchen/fridge. The bottoms of the windows are very low so it would be easy to enter through the big openings so I felt it was a safety issue. Plus to attempt getting airflow, we had to keep all the window coverings open so at night, anyone could look into the bedrooms and living area. FYI - temperature was not overly hot in Tahoe - it was gorgeous 75-80 degree days and cold at night but HOT inside the rooms. On the plus side, we appreciated the kitchen amenities, the big living areas, comfortable beds, nicely appointed bathrooms, and quiet of the area.
