The hotel was completely under-construction- no notice that restaurants were closed so we had to get food across the street at Harrahs. Very confusin walking around and everything and everyone seemed confused. No discount on our room or coupons for food for the inconvenience. Pool was closed during "Open" hours. It was very disappointing.

We didn't like the idea of having to call to get the room cleaned, i mean really that is what you pay for when you book a room. So even when we did ask for a cleaning, all it consisted of was the bed half ass made up!!! No vacuuming, no wiping of counters or desk or vanity, no refill on the shower jell. At best it was absolutely lousy. And to have to pay resort fees for this is absolutely absurd. Restaurant was over priced, so we enjoyed a walk and ate elsewhere. We really enjoyed Lake Tahoe, the casinos were good(machines a bit tight) cocktail service was good(some places better than others). All in all we enjoyed Lake Tahoe and I'm sure we'll visit again, but I'm sure we'll choose a different place to stay.

We are very disappointed that the Sports Bar restaurant was removed. It’s very upsetting that there is ZERO moderate priced restaurant in this hotel. The Ramsey restaurant is prohibitively expensive. For example, a very small pour of house wine for $25. Unreal. Also the price of $18 of wine at the bar last night. After paying for a view room, we were assigned a room overlooking the parking structure. Fortunately, the front desk moved us to a view room.

Do not stay in the Remus tower if you want any sleep. Lake Tahoe Aleworks has a DJ that plays incredibly loud music until 2 am. Our windows were rattling. We have stayed before and never experienced this. We are regulars to Tahoe and know the nightlife but have never heard music this loud from there. When we brought it to the hotels attention we were met with “well it’s Friday. There are concerts.” That wasn’t a concert. It was a terrible DJ! When you spend close to 1000 on your stay and meals at the hotel it is expected to have a little more customer service.

The check-in gentleman was not the best or friendliest. Later, I found out that he never asked me a lot of questions that he should’ve with options that I could take advantage of. The main thing being the parking. If you ever stay here, you need to let the front desk know that you self parking in the garage. It will need a key card.
