The man checking it was SO RUDE!!! He did not want to check me in because I have 2 extra kids… I explained that they were there visiting for 1 hour … he said if they didn’t leave in one hour he was going to kick us all out!!! He was very rude and unprofessional!!! Never will I recommend this hotel!!!

Normally when we visit Lake Charles we stay here. However this last visit was horrific.BEDBUGS!! One night’s sleep led to me and my wife waking up with multiple bites all over our bodies. We were moved to another room where the shower floor looked rusted like its wasn’t cleaned it awhile. This experience has really traumatized me from the scars from the bedbug bites to worrying if I will catch some form of infection from the dirty shower floors. Then the manager tried to tell me there are no bedbugs.Sir you have some form of carnivorous insects in your building now whether it’s beg bugs or not we can agree to disagree. But the scars on our body from these bites are a fact. The breakfast was good but we ended up being breakfast for your inhabitants..Never again in my life. If anything y’all owe me money for this fear factor challenge we had to engage in unknowingly.Hopefully this establishment will do better in the future for others,not me though,I rather my flesh stay on my body!!

This property is old and poorly maintained. Hotels.com is complicit in the bogus ratings for this hotel. The pictures are misleading. This hotel is unwelcoming, in a sketchy neighborhood, do not book here.
