Incredible location, very cool building, spacious room, and good amenities. Would stay here again for sure. A lot of comments talked about noise, given it's location, but we didn't find it too noisy on a Friday night, and had a 13 month old baby sleeping through it all too.

Casa Velasco is in a great location near shops and restaurants and within walking distance to the Malecon. The staff are very responsive and check in and out is very smooth even without a physical check in desk. Would go back next time.

We love the place. The representative we dealt with was very nice and accommodating. Historic property with some very cool art. It is run like a vacation rental with virtual staff and codes to enter. Nice area with good restaurants and coffee shops right outside the door. A great value.

Check in is done electronically, there is no front desk! Which is fine, except we didn’t receive the code until we called, which was a little annoying! Maybe they need to better explain the checkin procedure when booking? We upgraded to a larger room and it was nice with a king bed and a small kitchenette. The hotel is conveniently located to downtown and the malceion (beach) is a two block walk.
