Randor was a great place to stay for a family of 4. It was spacious and clean with all the amenities we needed. Throughout or trip we often went to the grocery store to pick up ingredients to cook something up. We loved the small kitchenette and the sitting area to eat! It was a super peaceful place to reside in Kyoto. Highly recommend to other families.

Nice, clean rooms! Subway station was about a 10 minute walk away. Most shopping/restaurants would be about a 10-20 minute walk. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away, so that was great for breakfast and snacks. We never saw any staff members, including during check-in and check-out; but communication via email/messaging was clear and easy to follow. We would recommend this hotel for people travelling on a budget and who don’t mind lots of walking.

We loved this hotel. It was quiet and clean and had every convenience to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Self check in etc was handled smoothly by staff. We didn’t see them but they responded quickly to messages and made things easy. Near to bus line and market. Far enough from the tourists. But easy to get to things via bus lines.
