"The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice and the staff were pleasant. My 5 year old was a little anxious about the lobby Halloween decor (they had one of the giant skeletons) but he got over his fears and even decided to get over other fears on our journey because he felt so empowered by it so that was great- the giant skeletons have been a problem for a few years now, haha. It was a great stop along our road trip at a convenient location. We definitely recommend it."

"Fantastic stay as part of trip to the Redwoods. Loved the historic setting on the Klamath river. Appreciated use of the refrigerator and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The lookout at the top of the hill was a great place for picnic."

"This is a newer facility and well maintained. Nice room, quiet, clean, big bathroom, everything you need. They do serve a nice complimentary breakfast, but the capacity of the space is too small to meet the demand of all the guests. The restaurant is not open for breakfast, and the only other food is a diner at the end of town or drive 15 to 30 miles away. Bigger issue with dinner. The restaurant is only open from 5pm to 8pm, 3 hours, and it is understaffed. Food was great, price reasonable, takes an hour to get food. The only other food in town after noon is a bar across the street and they had the grill closed. No food to be had except gas station food. If someone opened a restaurant in town that was staffed, they would have goldmine. If you bring your own food, this is a great hotel."

"We loved many things about this home: a 1st floor bedroom, large kitchen and living room, enough upstairs rooms for everyone, and a well decorated home. Some things we weren't expecting: cold floors (and feet) since only space heaters were provided and driving through a 'messy' neighborhood to get to the house. A fireplace was available for our use but we did not want to mess with it and we do not keep space heaters plugged in while we are gone (fire hazard)... and we were told once we arrived there's no furnace. The 'messy' neighborhood was a bit scary for us since we are not used to junk in yards and dilapidated homes. On the backside of the home there is a more rural farm but you must drive through this messy neighborhood first. The entrance to this rental faces this neighborhood."

"Sweet little house in the trees. There is a small market and cafe across the street but not much else if you need to shop or want to eat out. Only thing is that the property could use some TLC, the walls were dirty and could use a deep clean."
