"This is a lovely cabin close to the ocean and the exterior of the units are well maintained. The interiors could use more updating and cleaning regarding the carpets (change to vinyl flooring like the kitchen) and the sofa. Beds and bedding were comfortable which is greatly appreciated! More hooks for towels in the bathroom and coats in the main area would be beneficial as well."

"The host was very nice. She wanted to make sure we had what we needed. She had stopped by and had moved things around outside while we were not there. We had moved chairs to an overhang to sit outside in the rain. She moved them back into the rain and came back again to explain why. Although it was not an issue for us the listing says 2bedrooms. It is one bedroom and one bed in the living area. It’s a great location. She has a binder with suggestions and lots of information."

"Comfy tiny home/cabin with peek-a-boo views of the ocean with ability to walk about 100-150 yds to a gorgeous cliff-side overlook of the ocean. We had an excellent sunset during our stay in early June. The property is north of Trinidad, which got us well within striking distance of Redwoods National and State Parks.There was plenty of room for two adults and one kid. Our six year-old slept on the couch without issue. Well appointed kitchen. Everything was in good working order and clean. My only complaint was that the down mattress topper was a little soft for me; my wife loved it.We felt at home and relatively secluded, which is what we were looking for."

"I highly recommend Luffenholtz Beach Studio to anyone who will be staying in the Trinidad area. The location above the Pacific captures the unique beauty of the rugged and rocky coastline. The studio’s big windows, vaulted ceiling and huge skylight fill the studio with light and a sense of being high among the redwoods. The kitchen was well equipped and was provided with my favorite coffee(Peet’s) and a rarity in short stay rentals; sharp knives. The host was very accessible and communicative and is clearly someone who takes pride in his accommodation. This is one of my favorite VRBO accommodations."
