The location was great, near to the walking paths to the lighthouse. The room was clean, with a pretty good view of the bay in the distance. Disappointing were the drain in the tub/shower (plugged), the "continental breakfast", and the inattentive reception staff.
It was nice to have free breakfast, but they served Eggo waffles that you heat in the toaster. The only pastries were muffins. The bathroom had a funny smell. The rooms could use a little updating. Our reclining chair needed to be replaced. The staff is great and the rooms are a great size with a refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, iron and board. It's also a great location. It's great they have a laundry on site to use. $1 each to wash and dry.
Nice big room - plenty of coffee and tea in reception. Breakfast good. Area a bit run down and not a lot to do.But nice and close to Jedediah Smith redwoods.
